I miss my cat....
Those were great times.... A box on the floor was a good hours of entertainment for me..... I'd get a beer sit back and laugh my butt off.....

... go ape-shit with an empty coke box...
and i'm talkin about those linear 18 pack
refridgerator boxes (which never work right)...
whenever i get an empty one... i will toss
it on the kitchen floor... its like tossing
a fucking bloody steak into a pit of
ravaging lions...
they don't just enter the torn hole i've
created at the top... they pounce on the
box and charge at it and chew on it and
'skate' with it....
wtf gives???

Have ya ever seen a cat chase after a hamster or a gerbile on one of those hamster/gerbile balls that you can put them in and let the hamster/gerbile roll all around the house?
Have ya ever seen a cat chase them and play with them??
*ROTMFFPIMMFP* Oh jesus christ, I still hurt from laughing so hard at that shit!!!
The little gerbile is just a going and going. I can just see him and hear him inside that ball. Constantly looking back as he is running and moving that ball. *HOLY SHIT, he is gaining on me. I'm FUCKED!!
*giggling my ass off*

when i had my hammies... i let them roll around
in that ball thing... my cats watched it intensely
but i don't think they tried to swat it....
it was funny cuz the hammy prolly didn't see the
cats... but it seemed like, while he was in the
ball, he would intentionally roll right towards
them....

Since putting the live-catch traps out, tend to nab about 3 wild fieldmice per week. Since I don't keep the wild mice anymore (just the 4 storebought feeders, who wouldn't have a clue about living 'free') usually let them out back by the woodshed, though ocassionally will toss it loose in the house again, for one of my four kitties to play with. Silly cats always play around with them but eventually lose the mice behind a large appliance.
